Today is Good Friday and many of us are beginning a weekend full of family and celebration! We can hope for Spring-like weather for Sunrise Services and backyard Easter Egg hunts, but I’m not too sure we’ll be able to do it without at least a sweater!
I was perusing Pinterest and looking for some last-minute ideas for Sunday’s lunch and as usual, it didn’t disappoint. I wanted to share a few of my favorites that I found. If you use any of them (or have some of your own!) I’d love to hear about them!
Adding Color to Your Deviled Eggs
No Easter lunch is complete without deviled eggs and when I saw these, I knew they’d be going on my “must-do” list for this weekend! I’m not sure I’ll ever make “plain” deviled eggs again!! You can find the details of this by visiting FOODjimoto.
Jelly Bean Easter Baskets
If you’re not afraid of a sugar overload, what a cute idea!! Simply take a regular sugar ice cream cone, fill it with jelly beans and then fashion a pipe cleaner to create the handle and you’re done! I could see using these as center pieces for the kid’s table or even as take-home gifts for the kids!
I love Peeps and I love S’mores so when I saw this image, I couldn’t contain my excitement and Easter lunch is a perfect day to try them! For the recipe, visit Eclectic Recipes.
Orange Bunny Rolls
Since these are sweet, they are perfect if your family does Easter Brunch or you just want to have them on hand for Easter morning right after church. The original recipe comes from our friends at Better Homes & Garden .They’re just so cute and PERFECT for Easter!
Pantone Easter Eggs
Okay.. I know that you’ve already dyed your eggs, but the Realtor and designer in me couldn’t resist adding this to the list and I will DEFINITELY be doing this next year – if I’m allowed!! You can find the original source over at the blog, How About Orange.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my Good Friday – get ready for Easter post! I also would like to wish you and your families a blessed, happy Easter!
